What is PM Kisan Yojana?
PM Kisan ( 18th installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi ) program is a central sector program fully funded by the Central Government for small and marginal farmers. Families of breeders belonging to one or more of the following categories:
- Present and former office bearers of constitutional posts.
- Present and former Ministers, Ministers of State, District Presidents of Panchayats, Mayors of Municipal Corporations, Members of Lok Sabha or Rajya Sabha or State Legislative Assemblies or State Legislative Councils.
- All retired and active employees and civil servants of the Ministries or Offices or Departments of the Central or State Government and its field units or Central/State PES and supporting offices under the Government or autonomous institutions and local authorities. (Except Class IV/Multi Tasking Staff/Group D employees).
- Any retired employee or retired employee receiving monthly pension of Rs 10,000 or more (except Class IV/Multitasking/Group D employees)
- Any person who has paid income tax during the previous tax year.

How to correct bank and Aadhaar details?
The 18th instalment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi (PMKISAN) provides an annual cash transfer to its see beneficiaries in three instalments from April to July; the second phase is between August to November and the third between December to March.

- In June 2019, benefits up to Rs 14.5 crore of land were provided to farmer families regardless of the size of the land.
Institutional land owners, farmer families holding constitutional posts, active or retired civil servants, and employees of State and Central Government or public sector enterprises and autonomous bodies of the can Government are exempted from the PM Kisan Yojana.
